1 DescriptionsThe ZCC12030/E is a non-synchronous buck converterfeaturing a wide input voltage range of 6V to 115V, and isspecifically optimized for applications demanding ultralow standby power consumption. The converter canachieve high efficiency and can support up to 3.5Acontinuous load current with integrated Low RONhigh-sidepower MOSFETs. The ZCC12030integrates a PG pin to indicate whether the outputis within the target range, while for the ZCC12030/E,the PG pin is replaced by an EXT pin instead. TheZCC12030E can achieve much lower standby loss andhigher light-load efficiency via the EXT tied to VOUT.The device employs a constant on-time control mode whichenables a fast transient response.
