Responsibilities: 1 The Vice President of Product Development is directly responsible and accountable for all aspects of Research and Development, Product Design, Applications Engineering, and Engineering in support of Manufacturing, as well as supporting the Sales groups. 2 As a member of the Executive committee, assists in strategic management of the company on issues related to all facets of the business (Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance) and is responsible for consistent sales and profit growth of the business. 3 Perform tasks and duties outside of Engineering as required by the President or Board
Qualifications: 1 Develop new products to help grow the company.  Each year, new product ideas generated that year must have expectations of increasing Gross Margin by more than RMB10 million in the following 3 years2 Provide documentation and manufacturing support, such that no orders are late due to engineering issues.3 Develop 3 new patentable or trade secret ideas per year4 Attend at least 5 days of training per year focused on helping you realize your goals, as agreed in advance by you and the MD.5 Visit at least 10 different customers or prospects in the course of 1 year6 Visit at least 2 other Halma companies outside of China to discuss collaborative projects

Responsibilities: 1 Schematic capture, simulation, PCB layout.2 Embedded software development in C3 Design and pass appropriate EMC requirements4 Generate innovative product concepts/solutions5 Develop functional specifications for new products6 Prepare and release of component specifications and Bill of Materials.7 Product test speciation including writing the spec and implementing tests8 Managing / coordinating engineering changes and maintain detailed design records9 Coordinate/organize prototype builds, fault finding, samples tracking, and field evaluation for NPD10 provide technical support to sales, marketing, production, quality and purchasing11 Working closely with the global R&D hardware / software teams
Qualifications: 1 Minimum 3 years’/preferably over 5 years’ design experience in electrical circuit design for mid/high volume products from design to production, with track record of successful results2 Understanding and experience in software development and debugging will be a plus3 Must be pro-active and results driven.4 Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.5 Must be able to complete a task/project from start to finish.6 A good understanding of design for manufactures and test methodologies. 7 Logical thought processes with excellent problem solving skills.8 Excellent English proficiency for clear and effective communication with the team in HQ9 Bachelor degree or above in electronics (or similar) from a well-recognized university
